Additionally, the skipper Shikhar Dhawan, who scored 58, Shreyas Iyer, who got 44 off 34 balls, and Yuzvendra Chahal, who claimed 4 for 17 in only four overs, all put up impressive efforts. India’s innings had to be limited to 40 overs due to frequent weather delays, and the visitors were on 225 for 3 in 36 when another delay left Gill stranded two runs short of his first ODI century.
