Jalal Yunus, the chairman of cricket operations for the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), stated that after speaking with the veteran, the decision was made to rest Mahmudullah for the forthcoming series against Zimbabwe. The BCB announced the T20I squad and Nurul Hasan Sohan as their captain on Friday.
